Terms and Conditions for Bookings
These terms and conditions outline our policies regarding deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling for tours involving accommodations at Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs), boutique hotels, and regular hotels. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs)
• A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• The deposit is nonrefundable but can be reused if the booking dates need to be changed, provided the cancellation or change is made at least 7 days in advance of the trip’s start date.
• You may only change the tour dates once. If a rescheduling is requested more than once, the initial 20% deposit will no longer be reusable.
• The remaining balance for the tour is typically paid in cash or in advance, depending on the cash flow available for the trip.

2. Boutique Hotels and Regular Hotels
• Reservations involving boutique hotels or regular hotels require a 40% deposit to confirm the booking.
• Cancellation Policy:
  o Half of the deposit (20%) is nonrefundable but may be reused for rescheduling, provided the cancellation or change is made at least 7 days in advance.
  o  The other 20% is refundable only if the cancellation occurs 30 days or more before the start of the trip.
• Boutique hotels and regular hotels have their own specific cancellation policies, which must be adhered to in all circumstances.

3. Cancellation and Refund Examples
To help clarify how our policies work, here are a few example scenarios:

Example 1: B&B Reservation
• Your reservation only includes accommodations in regular B&Bs.
• If you cancel your trip 7 or more days in advance, your 20% deposit will not be refunded but can be applied toward the payment of a rescheduled tour.

Example 2: Mixed Accommodations
• Your reservation includes a mix of boutique hotels and B&Bs.
• Your deposit would be 40% of the total tour cost.
• If you cancel the trip 30 days or more in advance, you will be refunded 20% of the tour cost, while the remaining 20% can be applied toward the payment of a rescheduled tour.

Example 3: Late Cancellation
• You cancel a reservation less than 7 days in advance of the tour’s start date.
• In this case, you are not eligible for any refund, and your 20% deposit cannot be used for a future tour.


4. Additional Notes
• All deposits are calculated based on the total cost of the tour and accommodations.
• For any rescheduling, the new tour dates must be finalized at the time of cancellation to reuse the deposit.
• We recommend notifying us as early as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking.
